EXPLORING THE UNCONSCIOUS

Some of us dream a lot, others can only catch vague fragments in the morning, or remember nothing at all. Some have dreams that seem deep and prophetic, others see dreams as a muddled reflection of daily reality.

No matter how trivial, our dreams offer a door into the depths of our psyche.  Dreams are an invitation to learn something profoundly new about ourselves, to show us a different way of being, to flesh out our challenges and illuminate ways to solve them. The give us a chance to recognize a light shined by the divine to make us notice something we overlooked in our daily lives.  Dreams provide us with spiritual guidance which bypass intellectual controls and go straight to the heart, helping us to grow wiser, and to see the road ahead.

“I have been really impressed by the way you facilitate the Dreams Group, with great intuition and compassionate understanding. You hold the group really well, which has allowed an atmosphere of openness and trust that has enabled work at a deep level.

Exploring my unconscious through dream work held in a group setting on a weekly basis and facilitated by Elena, allowed for my deepest fears and sadness to be revealed, felt and witnessed. Elena’s care, patience and safe confident boundaries permitted a transformation to take place and a deeper sense of trust to emerge in my life. It was as if the dreams were leading the way and alchemy followed.

I explore dreams using a number of different approaches: from a Waking Dream technique rooted in Planes of Consciousness and Alchemical model studied at the Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London, to the Projective Dream approach offered by the Marin Institute of Projective Dreaming (MIPD) in California.  I also regularly attend seminars and workshops to explore various ways of working with dreams.

I facilitate dream groups as well as work with clients individually.
