Work-life balance

Recognizing and understanding corporate pressures allows me to follow my clients’ journeys with insight and without judgment.

In my 19 years as a mutual fund manager in London, with a list of accolades including “Investing Superwoman” (by Sunday Telegraph) and “The Best Large Fund in the UK” (by Money Observer), I also found myself in the eye of some of the worst financial market storms, which became a deeply humbling experience. It inspired me, whilst still working in the City, to begin training as an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist at The Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London and then transitioning into the role of a psychotherapist full time.

I really appreciated the experience Elena brought from her time within the financial services industry. I felt this understanding of the industry I work in, and the types of people involved made it much easier for Elena to help me work on the issues I was facing at that point in my career. At the same time, Elena was able to talk me through issues in my personal life, which made me feel like I was experiencing an holistic approach to self development.”

I draw from my corporate experience to offer coaching and help deal with work-related stresses. I also lean on my psychotherapeutic training to address deeper psychological aspects and unconscious blocks that can get in the way of one’s progress. Using a wide range of tools from enquiry into early childhood, to visualizations, creative imagination and dream work, I help bring about a sense of greater inner peace and confidence.
